Wednesday evening I went to see “Queens on Ice” at Brenton Plaza. It was a benefit for Capital City Pride – the organization that puts on the local Pride Fest. The show comprised mainly of drag queens and several local semi-professional figure skaters. A few of the drag queens could skate, but most did not attempt. Give them credit for performing outside in the frigid air – was in the lower 20′s out with a wicked breeze. Here’s a few pics:

I have the day off of work – taking it as a “comp day” since I worked on Monday (President’s Day bank holiday). The city inspectors will be back at 10:00am to inspect the items we corrected – new railing on the back stairs, new dual-sensor hard wired smoke alarms and other minor things. We spent around $800.00 getting everything done. We should pass inspection with flying colors and receive our rental certificate. The certificate is good for two years then.
I’m surprised you didn’t skate-as your alter ego, of course.
